Return Policy
We are committed to offering our customers above-and-beyond value with our risk-free
return policy. There is no time limit - if you don't love your purchase one, two, or even ten
years down the line, it is eligible for a return with free shipping. Just be sure the product is
unworn, the security tags are still attached, and it is returned in the original packaging. In
most cases, refunds will be credited to the same payment method used during purchase.
WE UNDERSTAND THAT LIFE HAPPENS!
We are confident that you will be thoroughly impressed with the quality and value of our jewelry,
and would never want you to keep a product you are not 100% thrilled with. For that reason, we
handle return requests for products showing wear on a case-by-case basis, with the goal of making
every customer happy.
We process most refunds within 24 hours upon receipt of the returned item. Customers will be
notified by email when the credit has been processed and if there are any issues with the return.
If your package arrives damaged, please refuse receipt and return the shipment in its original
packaging. Claims for damaged or missing items must be submitted immediately.
Gift Returns
All gift returns will be issued as store credit, and the original buyer will not be alerted
regarding the refund request. To begin the gift return process, place the item in its original
packaging along with the gift receipt, and follow the “Starting a Return” instructions below.
Starting a Return
To initiate a return, please follow these steps:
- Open a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) on this page: https://bit.ly/2HFu7Yb - be sure to
enter your order number and shipping zip code.
- Print the shipping label and packing slip. We make sure to insure every package and recommend that
you use our labels, since we do not reimburse or refund shipping charges from third-party shippers.
- Package your items carefully and include the following, when applicable: the original LeoDaniels
jewelry box, certificates, manuals, and accessories.
- Place your item, and all relevant materials, in a sturdy box. Be sure to display the shipping label
with the return authorization code on the outside of the box.
Once your returned item has successfully passed inspection, your refund will be processed within 24
hours.
Items Ineligible for Return
- - Items with security tags removed
- - Items with any signs of tampering, wear, or alterations by a jeweler other than LeoDaniels
- - Items showing signs of improper care (such as chlorine exposure)
- - Loose diamonds without the original certificate (these will incur a $150 certificate replacement
fee)
- - Some special order items, of which you'll be informed at the time of purchase. Note: A “Design Your
Own” engagement ring (ring mounting and loose diamond) is not considered a special order.
- - Items returned without the following, when applicable: the original LeoDaniels jewelry box,
certificates, manuals, and accessories.
- - Chipped, cracked, or otherwise damaged jewelry, diamonds, or gemstones
- - Items without a valid Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number
- - Items delivered using a third-party carrier
Insurance
LeoDaniels does not offer insurance, so we strongly recommend contacting your insurance company and
adding your new purchase to your policy.
Some reasons you may want to update your policy:
- - While diamonds are indeed the hardest mineral, they can still chip or crack if struck at the right
(or wrong!) angle
- - It isn't uncommon for an expert jeweler to chip a gemstone while handling it with a tweezer
- - Metals - especially gold - do bend over time. This is considered normal wear and tear, so please be
sure to follow the proper maintenance schedule to ensure your gemstones do not fall out.
There are many insurance policies that will cover you in the event of a calamity, but neglecting
maintenance may void your policy. Continue to diligently clean and care for your product!
